Hartland United FC provides an age-based curriculum to help develop the appropriate skills for each child. In-house teams (birth years 2016-2019) will play against other HUFC In-house teams in a 4v4 format. Recreational Travel players, (birth years 2009-2015), will play games against regional teams in the Western Suburban Soccer League (WSSL). 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 formats are played based on player age as determined by US Soccer.

Registrations: Teams are formed on a first come/first served basis. When all teams are full the registration will be listed as “Wait List”. Please join the wait list. Additional teams will be added when there are enough players on list. It may be difficult to honor any requests for later registration.  Registration is open for players birth years 2009* through 2019.   High school players interested in playing recreational travel soccer, please email [email protected].  If enough players are interested, a registration option will be added.
*2009 Birth year players in 8th grade.

Hartland United FC believes no child should be turned away because they can’t afford to play. If you are in need of financial assistance please call 810-626-2150 to inquire about eligibility.

Uniforms: All players must have a Blue and a White Jersey. Uniforms from prior seasons may be used. For players requiring a new uniform kit, please select the registration option “NEEDS uniform” and indicate the uniform size. The uniform kit includes two soccer jerseys, shorts and socks. Uniform numbers are randomly assigned, requests cannot be handled.
Hartland United is commited to keeping our program as affordable as possible.  Maintaining the same uniform from year to year allows players to keep uniform longer and for families to hand down uniforms when a player has out grown.

Drop Fees: Before February 22 - $10 drop fee; After February 22 - $25 fee; After March 7th - NO REFUNDS
Due to the time and nature associated with the team formation process, we will not be issuing refunds for cancelations after March 7th.  A request for "credit" (less $25 fee) may be submitted for board review.  Credit must be used for another HUFC program before the end of the fiscal year.

Team Rosters: For in-house teams, the goal is to create balanced competition. This may mean dominate players/teams will be separated. For Recreational Travel, teams will be assigned to divisions based on the team’s skill level. Players may be assigned to teams based on what is determined to be the best fit for the whole club.  It may be necessary to combine ages to form teams. Girls may be offered the opportunity to play on a boys team if no girls team is available.
